About Performing Art Centre (PAC), Surat
The Performing Art Centre, or PAC, is a Surat Municipal Corporation arts complex on L.P. Savani Road in Pal, which the corporation describes as the first facility of its kind in Gujarat. Its 309-seat auditorium is hired for drama, classical music and dance, seminars and commercial shows, and it has become the city's main room for touring stand-up: Sundeep Sharma, Inder Sahani and Rahul Subramanian were all listed here between October and December 2026. The rest of the building is working space for artists, with a dance room with wooden flooring and mirrors, a music room, a recording room, a sculpting studio with a pottery wheel and ceramic furnace, and a drawing room. The corporation also runs subsidised art classes here.
