Things to do in Udhna–Magdalla Road (VNSGU)

The Udhna–Magdalla Road crosses south Surat from the Udhna industrial belt to the airport side, passing between City Light, Vesu and Piplod. Its main event address is Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, whose campus hosts the Surat LitFest, listed for 8–10 January 2027 with free entry, along with youth festivals, convocations and academic conferences. The road is also the usual cross-town route to the airport, so it slows badly at peak hours and on big event nights; leave early if you have a session to catch. Sitilink route 706 links the university with Jahangirpura, and autos and app cabs cover the rest.
