Things to do in Sarsana & Khajod

Sarsana is Surat's exhibition district. The Surat International Exhibition and Convention Centre near Khajod Chokdi, run under the Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry, hosts the chamber's trade shows, including the SITEX textile machinery expo, the Sparkle gems and jewellery exhibition and Udyog, along with consumer fairs; its Food & Beverages Expo is scheduled for 23–25 January 2027. Next door in Khajod is DREAM City and the Surat Diamond Bourse, inaugurated on 17 December 2023 and recognised by Guinness World Records as the world's largest office building. The chamber puts the centre about 15 km from the railway station, so plan a cab.
