About The Green Room, Surat

The Green Room is a comedy and performance room at Shyam Plaza on VIP Road, and the busiest stand-up address in Surat by number of listed shows. Its calendar mixes touring comics with local nights: listings between October 2026 and January 2027 included Aakash Mehta's 'The Wedding Show', Banker OP, The Galipally Show, Phulka Dots with Amruta Bendre, Devesh Dixit and Harpriya Bains, along with The Kahani Openmic, an afternoon open mic for storytellers, comics and musicians. Shows run in afternoon, early-evening and late-evening slots, usually of about 90 minutes to two hours. Club shows listed here have set an 18+ age limit and asked for a government photo ID at the door, so carry one, and book ahead for known names.
