Things to do in Udhna

Udhna, south of the old city on the road to Navsari, is an industrial and working-class district built around textile processing units and Udhna Junction, Surat's second railway station. Events here are mostly community-run, such as Ganesh pandals, society garba, religious programmes and local cricket tournaments, and there are few ticketed venues. The BRTS corridor from Udhna Darwaja to Sachin GIDC Naka runs through the area on route 11, which makes it one of the easier parts of south Surat to reach by bus. Pandesara and Bhestan lie further south along the same road, and Sachin's industrial estate is at the end of the line.
